KJ Tait provides consultancy services in the retail sector for a number of Clients.

Our principal retail involvement is in supporting abrdn on their shopping centre portfolio and Ediston on their retail parks and retail parks investment portfolio, overall comprising around 15 sites.

Our role

Our principal input is in alterations to suit new Tenants. In recent years, there has been a shift from a demand for large stores to medium stores which has required redesign of services infrastructure to suit.

We also work with retail Clients to provide condition surveys and dilapidations reports which may influence the future of stores.

Ediston Retail Parks

KJ Tait have worked with Ediston Real Estate on a number of retail parks in the last 10 years.

Churchill Square, Brighton

Churchill Square is a major shopping centre in the heart of Brighton. As well as procuring and managing the facilities management contracts for the Centre, KJ Tait has provided MEP design consultancy services for the phased remodelling of the centre.
