PROFILE

KJ Tait Engineers is a professional practice of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineers with offices in Aberdeen, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London.  Founded in 1978, the practice remains wholly owned by the Directors and has grown organically to its present strength.

In addition to the traditional core M&E Engineering Services disciplines, KJ Tait Engineers embodies in-house expertise in several areas including low carbon and low energy design, renewable energy generation and application, BREEAM, sustainability and facilities management.

Our philosophy is to provide the best possible level of professional service on every project and our approach is to meet the demands of our Clients by engineering simple building solutions that minimise complexity.  A guiding principle of our company requires that a nominated Director and consistent senior and support staff take ownership of each project from inception to completion.

We enjoy an excellent level of morale and strive for excellence in engineering; this culture is reflected in our high level of repeat business and direct referral.  KJ Tait Engineers is committed to the ongoing training and development of all employees and turnover of staff is extremely low by market standards.

Each engineer within KJ Tait Engineers, including Directors and Associates, has a designated area of specialisation.  In addition to their design duties, they are encouraged to keep abreast of literature and developments in these fields to ensure the practice consistently provides a suitably skilled design service to our Clients.
