Abercrombie House is a 90,000ft² six storey office building which was built in 1981 to house the Government’s Department for International Development. The building has undergone a complete redevelopment which included: • Replacement of all Services Installations • Replacement of Lifts • Replacement of Windows • Re-modelling of Entrance Foyer • Installation of Raised Access Floor The redevelopment work was carried out in five phases to allow the building to remain occupied. The Project achieved an ‘Excellent’ Rating under the BREEAM environmental methodology. Contract Value: £11m Completion: 2004
