Banff & Buchan College, Fraserburgh

KJ Tait Engineers are appointed for the redevelopment of Banff and Buchan College’s main campus building in Fraserburgh. The project comprises the refurbishment of 3,650m2 of the existing Fraserburgh Campus with significant new build elements including atria totalling approximately 5300m2, at a budget of approximately £19 million.

The project will be completed on a phased basis as the Campus will remain operational throughout the construction period of 21 months. The procurement route is single stage design and build format; a key point however is that the design was substantially complete prior to tender issue (Stage F).

Temporary Accommodation for College use during the development has been provided.
